Liza Lorenz hails from upstate New York, where her ancestors have lived since colonial times. From the moment she realized letters made words and words could make stories, she could normally be found having dived into a book…and many times forgetting to jump out.
She dreamed of writing, but school, college, law school, a Master’s study, and career—not to mention a hot date, a night out with friends, and general sloth—always impeded finishing any work she started. In 2016, she vowed to finish a book she’d begun years earlier. This vow was not unlike one she’d made in 1995, 2000, 2010, 2011, 2012 and every other year.
This time she stuck to her guns, completing and submitting her manuscript to agents and publishers. While waiting on tenterhooks, her fertile mind is conjuring up another romance.
Liza lives in Hamburg, Germany with her husband. In her spare time, she still has her head in a book (things haven’t changed much), researches her family history, Facebooks and Skypes way too much with family and friends back home, or plans her next getaway.
She would love to hear from romance readers and authors.
